Fast and Dirty Craps Tips

I'm not going to waste your time. You want great Craps tips and here they are. Get them quick and dirty. These tips are handed down from the Craps sages on mount high.

Sucker Bets are for Suckers

Okay, you know the Craps layout (you better). See that big section in the middle. You know, the one taking up all that space.

That's called the Prop Box, but you mind as well call it sucker's row. That's where all the sucker bets live and you don't want to walk down that street.

Sure, betting a sucker's bet once in a while is okay, but don't invest anything significant into them. They just about always drain brankrolls.

Systems Fail

To date, I don't know of one Craps system that's worked 100% of the time. Some are pretty good though. Just remember that systems are just playing techniques and they aren't ways to kill the casinos all the time.

If you find a system that's working, my advice would be to limit your playing time and learn when the optimal conditions arrive and leave. Most system players get greedy and do too much.

Don't Chase

Just because the Craps table has lots of pretty wager spots doesn't mean you need to bet them all. Don't be one of these players that lays out large amounts of cash to cover just about every conceivable roll. Think first.

Pick your battles and fight them. And don't think that just because a shooter threw a few 9's last time that he or she will do so again.

Have Fun

Seems like a stupid tip at first, but so many Craps players have forgot how to have fun. Many undisciplined players become chasers and overbettors. They forget to have fun, they get scared with their money and then they lose.

Bet smart, win some money and have fun.
