It's Not That Bad Just take a deep breath . . . The Craps table is perhaps the most intimidating place in the entire casino. Many gamblers are scared to even walk by a Craps table. But, it doesn't have to be a horrifying experience. Yes, playing Craps gets easier each time you do it. I think many would-be Craps players get overwhelmed. They see all the possible bets and action and they can't handle it. You don't need to worry about everything at the table. The great thing about Craps is there's so many ways to play the game. For instance, you could just place money on the number 8 all night long. Unlike other games, like Blackjack, you're not forced to play a certain way and you're not forced into the action. You could play this roll, take the next few rolls off, play again and so forth. Craps has to be one of the most flexible games out there. And it's quite friendly once you get the hang of it. If you're about to embark on your first journey to the Craps table, here's a blueprint to make your first time a breeze. Read Beat Craps That's right. Take a little time and read the articles here. Once you do, you'll be ahead of the game. Ask Dealers If you're going to a live Craps game, don't be afraid to ask the dealers how to play. That's their job and they are happy to do it. Just remember to flip them a tip for helping you out. They'll love that. Stick to the Basics Don't try to be a hero and play everything on the table. Stick to what you know. I recommend that all first-time Craps players stick to the Pass Line ONLY. That's right. Walk up, put a few bucks on the Pass Line and have some fun. You'll learn the game flow this way and you'll be able to sit back and relax. I don't recommend playing the Don't Pass, because many at the table will look down on you for that and it's your first time, so you don't need to drama. If you feel adventuresome, throw down a Hardway wager (4, 6, 8 or 10) if you have a point of 4,6, 8 or 10. Sure, it's not the best bet in the world, but it spices things up. Remember the Point Your first time playing Craps isn't about hiring private security guards to haul off your winnings. It's about having fun and learning the game. So, don't be afraid to put out a couple "sucker" bets here and learn. Kick the tires and learn how things work. Win or lose, you want to learn from your first session. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
